Our first meeting is on Friday, September 27 at 12:00 noon at Wainapanapa State Park in Hana, Maui. I recommend you fly into Kahalui airport on Maui the day before at the latest - arrive even earlier to take more time to slow down and really arrive. Provision up in the area around Kahalui at the Costco, Walmart, Sam’s, and local stores. Then drive the 50-mile Hana Highway the next day, leaving 2.5-3 hours to enjoy the views, waterfalls, abundant fruit stands, and 50+ hairpin turns and take your time slowing down.

You will need a car or to share a car with others. If you wish to explore sharing a vehicle, contact Katie to place your name on the list to find a potential car buddy.

Book your lodging with Wainapanapa State Park in mind, as it will be a common meeting place. You will be required to pay a day entrance fee when we meet there. 3 months in advance, you can book a rustic cabin in the park for up to 5 days and/or camping in the park for up to 5 days, if spaces are available. There are also abundant Airbnbs, VRBO’s, and other lodging choices within driving distance of the park.

Each day we will gather 1-2 times to circle up, discuss, and do processes aligned with the land and your inner world. Times and exact locations are dependent on weather, sky conditions, and other environmental factors. There will be plenty of time for resting, exploring, adventuring, and eating on your own.

Our final meeting is on Tuesday, October 1 and we will end by 12 noon. One option is to drive back that afternoon and catch the evening red-eye flight back. Alternatively, plan to stay another night or more to continue to float and play with the learnings, insights, and new states of being you’ve experienced in class.
