Experiment: Your Enjoyment Resume
| July 25, 2011 | Posted by Katie Raver under Uncategorized |
We all have a “work” resume. But what about a resume detailing the happiest and most enjoyed moments of your life? A resume like that could illuminate future paths, inform your decision making in new ways, and also be a pleasant thing to do.
Here are some points you can use to get started:
- List out 5-10 moments in your life that you felt enjoyment or great happiness.
- Include the approximate date and time and the sights, sounds, and feelings that you enjoyed the most. Be specific! Pleasant memories are a good place to linger, dawdle, and review in detail from time to time.
- Look for patterns. How could you group these moments and make sense of them? Are there some experiences that were most enjoyable?
- Review your enjoyment resume. How could you plan something later today, this week, or in the near future that you would very likely enjoy greatly?
If you’d like, leave a favorite pleasant experience or memory in the comments so we can all enjoy you even more!
